Super-resolution Fluorenscence Microscopy
The "traditional” limit of resolution of light microscopy of typically 250 nm has been overcome in the last years by the development of optical super-resolution microscopy techniques. Some of these techniques can reach a resolution limit down to tenths of nanometers. These techniques have pioneered research in biology, but also in chemistry, materials science and recently in physics. more
