Zeiss Lattice Lightsheet

Technical details

The system is equipped with 3 laser lines (488 nm, 561 nm and 640 nm), two Hamamatsu Fusion sCMOS camera and a 48x/1.0NA detection objective. The lattice lightsheet microscope is fully incubated for live cell experiments. Acquisition and data processing is integrated in ZEN Blue.

Major advantages of Zeiss lattice lightsheet microscopy are:

• low photobleaching
• low phototoxicity
• fast volume acquisition speed
• easy lightsheet adjustment and calibration

Experiments aiming for the lattice lightsheet microscope are:

• Long time recording (several hours up to days) of cellular and subcellular dynamics
• Shorter recordings at highest volume speeds
• Single plane acquisition at high frame rates
