Zeiss LSM 780
Brief description
With the Zeiss 780 laser scanning confocal microscope you can perform automated longterm multi-position life cell experiments. The system is equipped with a motorized X-Y stage (Märzhäuser 130 x 85 mot P), a piezo stage for fast focussing and with an incubator box (temperature, CO2).
The system is further equipped with:
- 2 conventional PMTs and a high sensitive multiarray 32PMT GaAsP detector for fast spectral scanning
- a high NA long working distance 40x water immersion objective (LD C-Apochromat 40x/1,1 W Korr M27) NA: 1,1 WD: 620 µm @ coverslip thickness 0.17 mm) which allows confocal imaging of several cell layers
- the Zeiss hardware autofocus system (definite focus)
- AxioCam MRm Rev.3 FireWire as well as GFP, CFP, YFP, DAPI, RFP and Cy3.5 filter sets for widefield microscopy
